Terms of Service
Welcome to Carloti Treats. These terms apply when you use carlotitreats.ca or place an order with us. By sending an order request, you agree to them.
1. Our products
Carloti Treats makes custom chocolate dipped treats, decorated cookies, dessert cups, cupcakes, cakes and dessert tables by hand in London, Ontario. Every order is made to order for pickup in London or local delivery in the London area.
2. How ordering works
- Order request. When you send an order through our website, WhatsApp or social media, you are sending a request. It is not a confirmed order yet and nothing is charged.
- Confirmation. We review your request and reply by email (and WhatsApp, if you shared your number) with the final price, design details and availability for your date — usually within 24 hours.
- Deposit. Your order is confirmed and your date is reserved once we receive a 50% deposit. Payment instructions are included in your confirmation.
- Balance. The remaining balance is due on or before your pickup or delivery date.
We may decline a request, for example when a date is fully booked or a design is outside what we can make. If we cannot take your order, no deposit is requested.
3. Prices
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Menu prices are starting prices: the final price depends on design complexity, number of colours, customization level, add-ons, special flavours and packaging. The estimated total shown on our website is a guide only — the price in your confirmation email is the one that applies. Delivery fees are confirmed with your order.
4. Lead time
Please place your request at least 7 days before your date. Larger orders, dessert tables and busy seasons may need more time. Requests with less notice may be accepted when our schedule allows.
5. Designs, photos and personalization
By sending names, messages, logos or inspiration photos, you confirm that:
- You have the right to use that content, and it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
- The content is not offensive, hateful or illegal.
Inspiration photos guide the style and feel of your order; every treat is handmade, so the final result will not be an exact copy. Small variations in colour, shape and decoration are part of handmade work. Please double-check spelling of names and messages in your confirmation — we make them exactly as confirmed.
6. Pickup and delivery
Pickup details are shared in your confirmation. Delivery is available in the London area for an additional fee. Please be available at the agreed time; treats are perishable and we cannot be responsible for their condition after pickup or delivery. See Pickup & Delivery for details.
7. Changes and cancellations
Changes and cancellations are handled as described in our Cancellations & Refunds policy.
8. Allergens and food safety
Our treats are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens. Please tell us about any allergy when you order and review our Allergen Information. We cannot guarantee that any product is free of allergens.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you send your order request applies to that order.
